"From our visitor surveys, we know that the decision makers in the pharmacies want even more pharmaceutical manufacturers as exhibitors of expopharm. The new format of Pharma-World meets this," explains Metin Ergül, CEO of the advertising and marketing company of German Pharmacists mbH, which organises expopharm. Pharma World offers various information panels. Lectures and panel discussions promote both vendor neutral as well as business-related impulses in the market.
"All subject areas must have already have been measured with their selection, as to whether they serve the economic and pharmaceutical success of the pharmacy," said Ergül. "The arena is not an advertising medium. So far as company information is conveyed regarding such innovative services and products of the pharmaceutical industry, of which the pharmacist has actual value. With the surrounding exhibition stands of the manufacturers, our fairgoers can deepen the outgoing impulses of the panels in individual meetings."
Pharma World increases the attractiveness not only for the visitors. Also, the industry is convinced with the concept. Thus, in 2013 - after an 8 year hiatus, Bayer Vital is again participating with an exhibition stand at expopharm - Europe's leading pharmaceutical trade fair. Other well-known pharmaceutical manufacturers have also expressed great interest in this new format. Many have already committed to expopharm or are currently nearing a decision.
"The Düsseldorf Expopharm will be a successful exhibition for visitors and exhibitors" says Ergül. "This is because pharmacists are here to talk with their relevant industry partners and service providers about how the future looks like for pharmacists." This of course includes direct contact with the providers of enterprise resource planning systems. The leading pharmacies-software houses have a firm commitment to participate in expopharm 2013.
