Biodose™ is a monitored dosage system which is designed for use by hospitals, care homes, domiciliary care and PCTs delivered through pharmacies. Patient details such as name and date of birth are stored on the product's software, along with a list of the patient's current medication which is compiled using Multilex DDF. The patient's information and medication details are then displayed on unique medication storage pods and backed up by medication administration records showing images of the drugs.

The consistent format in which Multilex DDF displays the medication names makes it easier for healthcare professionals to identify which medication is stored in the pod. This makes the process potentially safer by reducing the risk of selecting the wrong medication.
