NextPharma appoints three new senior team members

NextPharma Technologies Holding Limited, one of the leading contract manufacturers in Europe for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare industries, is delighted to announce the appointment of two key additions to its executive team. Andrew Kelley has been appointed Chief Operating Officer and Pierre Delavaud has been appointed Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing. In addition, Matthew Wilder has been appointed Vice President US Sales and Marketing to help drive the company's business in the United States.

Andrew brings over 27 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong track record leading manufacturing operations, most recently at Patheon. Pierre has a strong background in sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical industry and joins the team from SkyePharma, having previously spent 14 years at Catalent, where he held various senior positions. Matthew has over ten years of sales and marketing experience in the US pharmaceutical industry and joins NextPharma from Sanofi Pharmaceuticals, where he held various senior positions.

About new appointments

Andrew Kelley
Andrew Kelley, Chief Operating Officer, comes to NextPharma with over 27 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and with a strong track record leading manufacturing operations in contract manufacturing organisations. Prior to joining NextPharma, Andrew spent over six years with Patheon, where he held senior positions as Vice President Business Development covering Europe and Asia Pacific and Vice President UK and France Operations. Previously, Andrew spent sixteen years with R.P.Scherer/Cardinal Health (now Catalent) in various operations roles, culminating in the position of Vice President European Operations, covering eleven facilities.

Andrew holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA.

Pierre Delavaud
Pierre Delavaud, EVP Sales and Marketing, joins NextPharma with a strong track record in sales, business development and marketing within the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining NextPharma, Pierre held executive sales and business development positions at SkyePharma and spent fourteen years with the Catalent group (and former companies), where he held various senior positions, including Vice President Sales and Business Development Global Pharmaceutical Softgels, Vice President Sales and Marketing Pharmaceutical Technologies and Services Europe, as well as General Manager of a manufacturing site.

Pierre holds a PhD in Pharmacy.

Matthew Wilder
Matthew Wilder, VP US Sales and Marketing, joins NextPharma with over ten years of sales and marketing experience in the US pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining NextPharma, Matthew spent over ten years with Sanofi Pharmaceuticals, where he held various senior positions including Divisional Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director.

Matthew holds a degree in Marketing.
